WDAA Hosts 2018 Western Dressage World Championship

The Western Dressage Association® of America (WDAA) is excited to announce that the 2018 Western Dressage World Championship Horse Show will begin, September 27, and run through September 30th, 2018, at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Okla. Thursday will be host to a full day of rail classes. Friday – Sunday, there will be 4 arenas each day running all levels of Western Dressage tests. Divisions are offered for Jr Exhibitors, Amateurs, Open riders, Physically Challenged/Heros on Horses riders and Gaited Horses.

The judges for the 2018 WD World Show will be Ronald Bartholomew, Donna Longacre, Fatima Pawlenko-Kranz and Charlotte Trentelman. Every night has an event planned including the Friday Night Costume Freestyle party, the Saturday Night Freestyle Fiesta and the Sunday Post Show Awards Celebration!

The WDAA World Championship Show will feature four days of competition, and you are also invited to attend the 2018 WDAA Honors Awards Dinner, Thursday evening, September 27th at 6:00 PM in the Ropers Cantina. All Horse Lifetime Points and Awards Program awards will be presented including the first ever Silver and Gold Medalist Awards and Supreme Champion Award. Hall of Champions and Top Hand Volunteer of the Year Awards will also be presented.
