Shades of Grey – American Saddlebred
The evolution of my horse’s color, from a liver chestnut baby, to the almost white adult he is now. Most people don’t know that Grey is not a color, but actually a lack of color -horses loose pigmentation with each new coat, becoming more and more white each year. Grey horses have black skin, which shows through at muzzle and eyes, distinguishing them from albino’s, who have pink skin, and often blue eyes.
