I struggled to be able to put down the appropriate words about how I feel about Red Cadeaux, the way he has touched not only my life, but so many around the world. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain that Stephen Nicholson, Robin Trevor-Jones, Ed Dunlop, Ronald Arculli, Gerald Mosse and all connected with Red are feeling right now. Red became a part of Australian racing folklore, his name forever etched not only in history, but in our hearts. He was adored by an entire nation and united everyone in the racing industry the world over. A gentle soul who endeared himself instantly to all those who had the honor of meeting him. I will never forget the time that I got to spend with Red in March this year and running after him in the water at Altona Beach. I didn’t want to miss a single moment and it still rates as my favorite shoot I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of. RIP Red Cadeaux, you will be forever in our hearts and never forgotten.”
