There are many different breeds of horse. The Hucul horse is one of the oldest and most
well-known ones, and was brought to England by William the Conqueror.
It was taller than the average Plow horse, and
had sturdy hindquarters as well as strong muscles. It was also known for its endurance, stamina and the ability to withstand any situation. This breed is available in all shades, from
white to bay white, and is thought to be the most versatile.

Although the majority of horses are larger than most humans, certain breeds are
more suitable for children, like ponies. The maximum height for ponies is generally fourteen inches, however there are exceptions to this rule, such as Icelandic and Miniature Horses.
Ponies are smaller than larger breeds, making them easier for people to handle.
Ponies are great for young children as they are smaller and have longer necks.

The Thoroughbred is another well-known breed of horse. They
are extremely popular in short races in the US. They are great show horses and jumpers.
They are also extremely versatile and have a lengthy history in American culture.
The American Quarter Horse is a good choice for
family use and is the most sought-after horse breed in the United States.
The breed is believed to have more than 3 million horses.
They range from eight to sixteen hands high which makes them a
great choice for riding , or as an animal companion for the family.

Modern Appaloosa horses are popular. Their compact size and coats with spotted
coats make them ideal for children as well as adults.
This breed is very similar to Quarter horses, but is rarely found in solid colors.
Appaloosas have distinct spots and are more likely be apricot, chestnut, or brown than a Quarter horse.

The Appaloosa horse has a very long tail, which is very similar to a Quarter horse.
