The Hungarian Sport Horse, also known as the Hungarian Warmblood, is a modern competition horse which was mainly developed at the famous Mezőhegyes Stud in Hungary. The Hungarian name for this breed is the Magyar sportló. Although less well-known than other European warmblood horses, the origins of this breed are very old. While the majority of equestrians buy a Hungarian Sport Horse for dressage, they have also had major international show jumping success
