Badminton Horse Trials 2024: final round-up

New Zealand’s Caroline Powell and Greenacres Special Cavalier were crowned winners of the 2024 Mars Badminton Horse Trials on the 75th anniversary of the Gloucestershire five-star.
The pair rose from sixth overnight to be crowned champions, by virtue of their flawless showjumping round.
Ireland’s Lucy Latta – a one-horse rider with a full-time job, making her five-star debut – rose from 46th after dressage to finish second.
Alex Bragg and Quindiva were the best of the Brits, climbing from 51st after the first phase to take third place.
