Gaited Morgans are purebred horses with gait genetics passed forward from early crosses to Pacers of the day Gaited Morgans are found behind many of todays’ modern gaited breeds including the Missouri Foxtrotting Horse All registered Morgans can be traced back to one stallion Justin Morgan or “Figure” The Morgan blood became foundation blood for several other horse breeds including The Quarter Horse, The Saddlebred, The Tennessee Walking Horse, and the Standardbred. There are four families of the Morgan horse. The Lippitt, the Lambert, Government, and Working Western All four families of the Morgan can carry the genetics for gait Concentrated bloodlines have produced a consistently gaited Morgan that is being bred on today The Gaited Morgan is a very RARE horse Can perform any or all of the gaits across the gait spectrum
