It’s an incredible gift when a community of people come together to provide abused, neglected and abandoned horses with a natural environment, the safety of a well adjusted herd and the expertise of holistic equine practitioners to attend to their rehabilitation. But when that community is extended to former combat veterans and their family members — the results are nothing short of remarkable. This documentary captures a few of the passionate horse men and women behind The Joyful Horse Project. Their amazing Veterans Equine Therapy Services (VETS) program provides military families with the opportunity to help rehabilitate the horses and participate in the mutual healing process that occurs as bonds of trust begin to form. Please help spread the word about this important project by sharing this video with your friends and family. Your tax deductible donation will provide funds for this work to continue.
