Remembering Wildcat Heir

Video Provided By:  Thoroughbred Horses in Kentucky/Beatles Tribute Band

This week Florida lost its leading Breeding sire of 2014 to complication from colic.  Will miss this beautiful boy who was loved by so many.  I spoke with Crystal on Friday and her and Brent Fernung would like to thank everyone for their calls, emails, texts, etc.  This video is from the 2010 Stallion Show.  As you can see he was an easy stallion to be around and loved the attention from his fans.

Wildcat Heir 2000 – 2015

Forest Wildcat  x Penniless Heiress, by Pentelicus

Wildcat Heir was a very special horse. There was not a mean bone in his body and he loved interacting with people which is a rarity for a breeding stallion. His perfect balance made him a match for any type of mare, but more importantly his huge heart and intelligence were passed along in his foals. His progeny were having their best year yet and I am sure they will continue to represent their sire well. We are heartbroken at his loss, he was an old soul sent back to touch our hearts.

Thank you to all of the breeders that supported him over the years and we wish you all the best of racing luck with them in the coming years.
Brent & Crystal Fernung
