Carriage riding for the disabled – Carriage riding and volunteering opportunities in Wakefield

Video Provided By:    If you’re interested in volunteering opportunities, booking a place or just want to find out more visit the website: http://www.dialwood.btck.co.uk Dial Wood Carriage Driving for the Disabled is situated in a rural setting between Huddersfield and Wakefield. For the last ten years, we have offered Carriage driving and activities with ponies to disabled people – whether they are ambulant or wheelchair users. Disabled people can learn carriage driving and horse care, or they can simply come and enjoy the fresh air and be taken for a carriage drive. Dial Wood is run entirely by volunteers so if you’re interested in volunteering, learning some new skills and gaining some qualification and love working with horses and people then please get in touch. We run sessions all year round on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
