Live Oak International

2015 Live Oak International Tentative Schedule
Combined Driving & Show Jumping
March 18th – 22nd 2015

For more than 20 years The Live Oak International has been the industry standard for Combined Driving competition welcoming leading drivers, trainers, coaches and owners from all over Europe and North America. They compete at Live Oak Plantation in Ocala for National Championships and, regularly, placement on the U.S. Combined Driving Team.

In 2012 the Live Oak International added Show Jumping to its world class Driving Tournament and it was an instant success. Thirty-five riders from 16 countries competed under the live oak trees. For the first time a world-class Jumping event and a world-class Driving event were together at a world-class horse farm on the same weekend.

For the past 40 years Live Oak Plantation has been a leading thoroughbred racing operation providing breeding, foaling, training and racing. Its distinctive silks of white with red dots and black sleeves continue to enjoy remarkable success nationwide from The Breeders’ Cup to Eclipse Awards and many grade one wins. For one week in March we bring together international equestrian athletes, corporate sponsors, patrons, volunteers, officials and friends to enjoy the magnificent Live Oak Plantation.

Live Oak International was already recognized as a fun, well-managed show for the Driving community with a strong focus on hospitality for its competitors. With the addition of Show Jumping we introduced and sold out a ringside hospitality area. Owners, competitors, and sponsors enjoyed two beautiful afternoons of ringside hospitality. Every rider that entered the ring saluted our sponsors.

In addition to the Driving and Jumping Competition, the week features a Saturday evening Competitors Party and is a highly popular, much anticipated annual event.

Whether coming around the final turn of a triple-crown race, representing the United States in an international Combined Driving competition, or taking on the challenge of a Grand Prix course, our family has always put horsemanship and sportsmanship first.
